For the comfort of all of our guests, we intentionally put the TV in the sun room, so those guests wishing for an afternoon nap won't be disturbed. The house is a non-smoking facility. Except on the outside porch. |
There
are many aspects of Tree Haven Bed and Breakfast that will soothe
your spirit. There are four guest rooms upstairs and one room downstairs,
each with its own private bath.

 Maple Room
Soothing greens and natural floral prints highlight the antique high 4 poster queen bed…with a step stool for those who need a boost up. An antique dresser and other accents reflect the gracious time period of the house. This is a favorite for honeymooners. The private bath has a stall shower. The Maple room is in the front of the house on the second floor. You will not be disturbed in this luxurious and cozy room. |
 Dogwood RoomA sunny room in pastel rose colors with a Queen bed and a Twin day bed available at extra cost. The south west corner location on the second floor makes this a cozy and warm room with spectacular sun rise and beautiful garden views. You have a private full bath with shower/tub and a generous closet.

 Poplar RoomA large room with a king-size bed. This bright sunny room at the front corner of the house is decorated using Arla's favorite shade of blue. Rich burgundy accents make this cheerful room an inviting place to spend either a "get-away" weekend or a week. The private bath has an oversize shower stall with a seat. |
 Walnut RoomRelax in this first floor room with private shower. Early American warmth with a walnut four poster queen bed and antique love seat will greet you upon arrival.  Old family photos adorn the walls while candles in
the fireplace add a touch of romance.
The room is convenient to the front porch swing and easy entrance. This room will accommodate a folding bed or air mattress if a youngster or 3rd person is coming. |
A
charming window seat or “quarter
berth” could accommodate a young mate of less than 60” height.
The room has a full bath with shower. Enjoy the wonderful breezes
on the north east side of our home.

Outside you may stroll
the grounds overlooking the flower gardens. The cheerful potting shed
or shop is a focal point for the garden and was constructed from the
recycled materials of the main house…old windows and doors accent
the design.
If you wander past the picket fence down the driveway to the back of the property you can find relief and cool freshness near the gently flowing creek. Natural plants, trees, and wildflowers accent the area and skipping stones is a must! Take comfort in the large old growth trees that shelter the banks. Ask Arla & Buzz about Montreat hiking trails.
We have all kinds, from an easy but beautiful walk along the road to
strenuous hikes up Grey Beard Mountain . Don’t forget your golf
clubs if you want to play the longest hole in the country. |
